Frequently Asked Questions

What is Sacred Space by Telephone?

We recognize you have a busy schedule that leaves you little time for reflection and renewal. Sacred Space by Telephone is more than the counseling; it gives you an opportunity to breathe while in your own space. We encourage you to sit in a setting where you are comfortable. The session then opens with your having a sense of comfort and familiarity which removes some of the uncertainty of counseling.

Why is the session called Sacred Space?

We open our sessions with an inspirational reading or Scripture. Next, we invite you to pause for five minutes of silence. This gives  you the silence to gather your thoughts, to relax from actions, and to meditate and focus; then you are asked to take three deep, clearing breaths to enhance clarity. This process opens each session and invites you into a shared sacred experience.
