Hilda R. Davis, PhD, LPC

Hilda R. Davis has served in diverse areas—from marketing professional to mental health provider. The will to integrate her experiences as teacher, writer, mentor, and counselor continues to drive her to new areas of community service and leadership.    

Currently Dr. Davis is in private practice as a licensed professional counselor. Her practice, Sacred Space by Telephone, is dedicated to telephone counseling and coaching. She offers her clients a “sacred space” for confidential, collaborative counseling. Her clients enhance their coping skills and gain perspective through supportive therapeutic sessions that encourage their resilience, support them through transitions and provide accountability for attaining goals.  
 

Dr. Davis received her doctorate in Religion and Psychology from Vanderbilt University. She has both undergraduate and master’s work in Psychology. She is licensed as a professional counselor in the State of Tennessee. She is an ordained Deacon in the United Methodist Church and continues to work with organizations through classes and retreats in health and spirituality. 

Davis has a daughter and granddaughter who make her proud.
